L'il Husla'

Born of poverty and pain,
He swore to never feel the same,
So now he lurks outside the light to make a gain.

Wearing a smile,

Making a living with dignity and style.

Never one to accept disrespect,

But disarms opponents with charm and street etiquette,

Mushi, mushi. The final design was put on a shirt for my brother during his tentative venture into Japanese culture. Although interesting, overall the drawing is awkward in a number of places and I regret not giving it more life and movement. Draw and learn. Drawn with pencil, roughly cleaned up, then inked and coloured in Flash.

I've always found Batman hard to draw, but defenitely want to play around with his look some more. Depending on your sensibilities, there's just so much room for experimentation when it comes to him. I drew these while taking a break from 3-D at school.
